The owner of this chain is Sasimonthon Ongartsutthikul, who opened her first Thai Kitchen in Maryland Heights, MO, in 1999.  She sold to an unrelated party several years ago.  However, living in Maryland Heights, she wanted to open another Thai restaurant, but.  However, with Kitchen still in business, she is calling the new location "Thai Mama" to not confuse the community.
